Ringkasan program
Year 1: Modules include introduction to the principles of micro and macro-economics and how to apply these to contemporary issues in applied economics. Modules provide students with an understanding of the economic system in general and the UK economy in particular.
Year 2: More advanced treatment of consumers, firms and markets (microeconomics) and of models and schools of thought in macroeconomics. The modules on quantitative methods teach students the various techniques of analysis important for an economist; techniques that assist in forecasting and prediction and methods that help structure and make sense of economic data.
Honours: Modules are divided into core courses: advanced microeconomics; money; macroeconomics; schools of economic thought; contemporary issues. Options: corporate finance; environmental economics; law and economics. Research; dissertation.
