Modul program

Research covers the environmental economic and social factors underpinning sustainability in forest systems; studying processes ranging from individual ecological interactions to those acting at a landscape level; current research includes: Ecophysiology of the impact and tolerance of heavy metals and Al; plant nutrition; and the role of mycorrhizas in forest ecosystems; impacts of elevated CO2 on forest establishment and ecosystem processes; forest genetics and tree breeding; forest inventory; ecology; structural and dynamic modelling and economics; conservation and restoration of forest ecosystems.
