Ringkasan program

Babraham Institute's research focus is on functional exploration of the genome; research areas include: intracellular signalling; neuroendocrinology; immunogenetics; cellular physiology; protein engineering; cell, tissue and organism development and differentiation; the neural and genetic basis of behaviour; regulation of gene expression; sperm and oocyte development and fertilisation; neurodegenerative disease; genome mapping; biochemistry and biology of immunity and inflammation; genetic and developmental basis of disease; research also possible within Sanger Centre, where interests include: computer sequence analysis methods and their application to human and other genome sequences; sequence-based predictions of protein structures; gene function in the mouse with genetic and genomic approaches; investigation of genes involved in human disease, including cancer; in addition to the course fee (University Composition fee) students may have to pay a college fee.
