Ringkasan program
Students study the search for gravitational waves and focus on transients such as supernovae and binary neutron stars and black holes, and stochastic gravitational waves; students have access to novel algorithms and search tool software; students can also access a data archival centre for geo600 and the strain data from LIGO; the data is analysed using in-house large computer clusters.
