The MRes in Health Studies provides a taught programme of study that prepares and develop competent researchers; the programme enables students to design and implement studies that contribute toward improving the quality and efficiency of health and social care provision.

Compulsory modules: data management and analysis; designing and appraising quantitative research; dissertation; health care research: a philosophical and practical overview; qualitative research methods; systematic reviewing; optional module: independent study module.
