Students undertake individual research projects under close academic supervision from within the department.
Modul program
Research interests include British and American colonial history in 18th century, 19th- and 20th-century British social, economic and political history; specific interests include: later prehistorical Roman and post-Roman Britain; early medieval Britain; social and political history of England and Wales from 11th to 15th centuries; urban and local history of medieval and early modern periods; social and economic history of early modern England; history of Germany from 1500 onwards; science in 17th-century England; British colonial America; British politics in 18th century; British political history in 19th and 20th centuries; popular culture in Wales since 1850; American social and political history 1850-1970; West Africa in 19th century; modern French history.
