This advanced level course covers all aspects of the hospitality industry; the course combines academic study with practical skills development, and is designed to equip the student for further study and career development in all aspects of the hotel, catering and hospitality industries; you will also have the opportunity to attend seminars and professional workshops, undertake voluntary work experience, and take part in national and international competitions.

Core modules include: The contemporary hospitality industry; the developing manager; customer service; food and beverage operations; rooms division operations; management accounting of hospitality; industry experience; specialist units include food and society; menu planning and product development; world cuisine; creative patisserie (double unit); on-licensed trade management; business health check; food hygiene and the environment; nutrition and diet; contemporary gastronomy (double unit).
