Ringkasan program
This unique course, delivered in collaboration with the University of Valencia, Spain and the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany gives an holistic approach to performance analysis whilst experiencing world class facilities; this programme is structured in such a way as to ensure that students receive a blend of theoretical underpinning, supported by applied and practical experiences which are reinforced through engagement with work placement opportunities and in-depth research; in the 1st year students undertake 3 x 12 week teaching blocks at each university in their 1st year and then return to their home university for the 2nd year to undertake the work placement and research project; by the end of the course each student has developed cultural awareness of different cities and countries, has had a superb opportunity to develop their language skills, experience living and studying abroad, and experienced an international educational experience.
Modul program
Year 1 (teaching block 1 - University of Magdeburg (September -December): motor control and movement analysis; advances in sports coaching; (teaching block 2 - Nottingham Trent University (January - April): advanced topics in notational analysis; applied performance analysis; (teaching block 3 - University of Valencia (May-July): biomechanics of sports techniques; research methods and empirical observation; year 2: work placement; project.
