Core knowledge of contemporary tourism is developed alongside an understanding of the impact and wider significance of tourism in a dynamic and changing world; the marketing subject introduces basic principles, develops market research skills and strategic marketing; the course is essentially multi-disciplinary and develops a wide range of transferable skills; students have a choice of option modules from both tourism and marketing.
