Ringkasan program
Students develop creative, artistic, technical and critical abilities as well as professional expertise; there is a strong emphasis on research and publications in the areas relating to the art of design, the design process and urban greenspace; the Master's in landscape architecture is awarded on completion of a dissertation; on successful completion of the PgDip students can apply to become a licentiate member of the Landscape Institute (LI), the chartered body for landscape architecture in the UK; the postgraduate diploma is designed around a major design project and 4 further taught modules, which are: Professional practice: law, professional practice, planning and urbanism (lectures); abstract to reality: from philosophy and theory to detailed design (lectures); exploring the edges: fringe landscape/settlement planning and structure planting (studio); theory and context in the studio: inclusive design and the richness of detail (studio).
