Students are trained in theoretical, empirical and methodological aspects of 1st and 2nd language acquisition; with its in-depth survey of current research and research practice.

Modul program

Research support; research methods; introduction to language and linguistics; linguistic theory and language acquisition; dissertation (MA only); optional modules: seminar in 1st language acquisition; linguistic theory and language processing; 2nd language acquisition; current issues in 2nd language acquisition; language and mind; discourse and genre analysis; language testing; acquired communication disorders; developmental communication sciences; advanced research topics (Department of Computer Science).
