Ringkasan program
The course is designed for anyone who has experience of being mentored or coached as well as those who have experience of being mentors and coaches themselves; students develop a deeper understanding of the area and learn to further enquire into their own or other�s practice; the course aims: to provide a course that promotes students' learning through critical reflection on and research into their practice; to impact positively on their practice as mentor/coach and consequently on the learning of their mentees; the mentees they teach provide future mentors with an enhanced understanding of the mentoring/coaching process in schools and colleges; mentees develop the mentor's ability to critically evaluate research and provide evidence of mentoring/coaching; mentees develop the student's understanding of different research approaches to mentoring/coaching; students work online on self-study and collaborative group activities in a cohort of coaches/mentors with the support of a university academic tutor; email and Skype communication are used to support the learning process.
Modul program
Students must complete 2 modules and associated assignments to the value of 60 credits: modules: the nature and practice of mentoring and coaching; planning practice-based inquiry; the duration of each module is 10-12 weeks.
