Drawing on theories from a range of cognate disciplines such as theatre and media for development and anthropology of development, the MA Music and Development offers an integrated practical and theoretical forum for students to study ways that musical practices and processes can contribute towards development communications in selected contexts in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
