Ringkasan program
The programme is an accelerated course for graduate entrants; successful completion leads to nursing registration in care of the person with mental health problems; there are no tuition fees and a non-means tested bursary is available; students undertake the 6 month common foundation programme and then study the mental health nursing branch programmes for 18 months; following the successful completion of the course and some work experience, study is integrated with clinical; students spend 50 percent of their time in university and 50 percent on clinical placements.
Modul program
Year 1: Foundations of health and illness; experiences of health and illness (user and care focus); experiences of health and illness (professional focus). Year 2: Complex health needs I; complex health needs II; clinical leadership and management of change.
