This course enables the student to develop and further their knowledge of pharmaceutical and chemical analysis, with carefully put together core modules; students expand their interests by selecting a pharmaceutical analysis lead research project within 1 of the diverse internationally recognised pharmaceutical analysis research groups (alongside PhD students and post doctoral research fellows).

Core: organic synthesis and characterisation of biologically active compounds (20 CP); drug detection, analysis, and screening (20 CP); research methods and independent study (20 CP); research project (60CP).
