This course is offered on a non-modular basis; the course addresses, and is assessed against, the Standards for Qualified Teacher Status provided by the Training and Development Agency, but goes beyond this to explore the complex and demanding nature of education; the programme includes specific focus on developing learning communities, the nature of Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings and providing opportunities for learning across the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and for Key Stage 1 subjects.
