This course is intended primarily for people working in the NHS and independent sector who want to develop psychological therapy knowledge and skills beyond the basic level acquired in some professional qualification courses; the course has 3 strands: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and systemic.
Modul program
CBT compulsory modules: fundamentals of CBT; CBT for common mental disorders; CBT for complex and long-term mental disorders; CBT clinical practice (common mental disorders); CBT clinical practice (complex and long-term problems); psychological therapies research methods; integrative themes in psychological therapies practice; research project; psychodynamic compulsory modules: psychodynamic observation seminar; psychoanalytic theory seminar; small group supervision and reflective practice; clinical applications seminar; psychodynamic clinical practice; psychological therapies research method; integrative themes in psychological therapies practice; research project; systemic compulsory modules: key concepts and core issues in systemic practice; approaches to and models of systemic therapy and theories of change; couple therapy; contemporary social issues; systemic clinical practice; psychological therapies research methods; integrative themes in psychological therapies practice; research project.
