A variety of teaching strategies are used with the emphasis on the development of practical investigative and group work, all with a problem-solving approach; applications must be made directly to the provider.
Modul program
Chemistry: includes a mix of theoretical and practical sessions in physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry; this also includes a student-led small scale research project that is based on a chemical theme; Physics: includes a mix of theoretical and practical sessions on mechanics; electricity; waves; astrophysics; materials; further mechanics; particle physics; fields; nuclear physics and further radio astronomy; this also includes a student-led small scale research project that is based on a physics themes; for both subjects, extra sessions on the mathematical and information communication technology skills needed to become a teacher are also taught; the subject knowledge, information communication technology and mathematical skills are taught as a spiraling curriculum, where topics are revisited and developed throughout the course.
