Students learn the analysis and design skills needed to create successful structures in challenging environments; members of the Department have expertise in cement chemistry, aggregate science, binder technology, concrete durability, alternative concrete materials, structural performance and design, earthquake and nuclear reactor design and finite element analysis.

Modul program

Core modules: dissertation planning and paper presentation; linear systems and structural analysis; structural design; computational structural analysis; vibration engineering; introduction to earthquake engineering; advanced concrete design; sustainable concrete technology; FRP composites in construction; durability and repair of concrete structures; design project; dissertation.
