Ringkasan program
The 14-unit course is appropriate if students wish to train as a mathematics teacher but their degree did not provide any or enough mathematics content for them to gain automatic entry on to a secondary mathematics teacher training course; this course prepares students for a PGCE secondary mathematics course by developing skills and giving them the confidence to recognise areas in their own subject knowledge which they need to develop during the enhancement course, initial teacher education and beyond; it also helps students to develop a deep understanding of the knowledge, concepts and skills associated with mathematics as a subject.
