This course provides technology-specific physical layer centric training for aspiring mobile wireless communications engineers; emphasis is placed on co-design of the RF front-end with the baseband and DSP end in an integral systemic approach; the training program covers topics such as real-time DSP, embedded software, signals orientated DSP as well as mobile communications, wireless communications systems design and high frequency design techniques; the course specifically promotes cohesive training in mixed analogue-digital circuit design in conjunction with system architecture and physical layer implementation.
