This program seeks to meet these changing needs by offering students in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program the opportunity to earn a graduate certificate in Environmental Policy through the Department of Public Policy. It develops knowledge of the functions and techniques of management and blends an understanding of social, technological, economic, and political issues into the core of the program. It provides students with both a strong foundation in the key disciplines of business and an integrative view of how those areas interact. A primary objective of the program is to provide students with advanced preparation in Management, enabling them to successfully compete in a dynamic global economy and, more broadly, to participate in society as educated business professionals. In addition, the MBA program seeks to afford students with a rich opportunity to specialize in an area of particular interest to them. This preparation can provide the foundation for successful mid- and senior-level management positions in many businesses, and some non-business, fields.

The modules are Foundation Courses (9 credit hours): POM 500: Statistical Analysis, FIN 500: Economic Concepts for Managers, ACT 500: Financial Accounting, Required Courses (30 credit hours): MGT 600: Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Law, ACT 650: Accounting for Decision Making, FIN 650: Finance for Decision Making, MGT 650: Advanced Organizational Behavior, MGT 659: Strategic Management, MKT 650: Marketing Strategy, MIS 650: Information Technology Management, POM 651: Operations Analysis, PST 500: Public Institutions and the Policy Process, PST 562: Environmental Policy, Elective Courses (6 credit hours): PST 560: Environmental Consequences of Globalization, PST 611: Administrative Law, PST 661: Environmental Law, PST 663: Ocean Policy and Law.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or be enrolled in such a baccalaureate degree program, with degree completion anticipated prior to graduate enrollment. They should have a GMAT score of 400. International students must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 200 on the computer-based test, 533 on the paper-based test, or 72-73 on the Internet-based test.
