Ringkasan program

This program is designed for the student whose immediate plans are to work in the construction industry. While this option is not designed for maximum transferability to the baccalaureate program, many of the courses will transfer. It provides a very strong curriculum in the construction area. Jobs of many types are available to graduates of the building construction program. It directs students toward jobs such as estimators, first-time supervisory positions, sales representatives, expediters and many other specifications. This program is part of a cooperative agreement between OSU-Oklahoma and Francis Tuttle Technology Center.

The Modules are ARCH 1614 COMPUTER-AIDED DRAFTING I, ARCH 2263 SYSTEMS AND MATERIAL, ARCH 2322 CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS, CONS 1103 BLUE PRINT READING and DRAFTING FOR CONSTRUCTION, CONS 1214 INTRODUCTION TO CONSTRUCTION, CONS 2003 OSHA FOR RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION, CONS 2103 INTRODUCTION TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, CONS 2113 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT OF BUILDINGS, CONS 2233 GREENBUILDING SYSTEMS/SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION, CONS 2243 LEED STANDARDS and CONSTRUCTION, CONS 2333 CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES, CONS 2343 CONCRETE AND ASPHALT CONSTRUCTION, CONS 2423 CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING I, CONS 2623 CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATING II, GENT 2323 STATICS.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must have completed high school core curriculum requirements such as four units in English - grammar, composition and literature, three units in mathematics - algebra I and above, two units in history - must include one unit of American history, two units in lab science - biology, chemistry, physics or any lab science certified by the school district, one unit in citizenship skills - economics, geography, government, non-western culture, three units in other - additional units of subjects above and/or from computer science and/or foreign language. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited high school or should have earned a General Education Diploma (GED). In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based), or 61 (internet-based); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0.
