Ringkasan program

This program is designed to prepare individuals to work as a Master Teacher in early care and education settings. It provides the opportunity for interested individuals to acquire the skills, knowledge and competencies necessary for careers as early care education Master Teachers. For those currently employed in the field, it will provide an opportunity to maintain and/or upgrade their education and training. Currently in the state of Oklahoma, the performance standards expected of Master Teachers is derived from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care. It is designed to give students the hands-on training needed to adequately prepare graduates to enter into Master Teacher positions upon graduation. It also provides a balance of theory and practice that supports the education required for both the child development associate and the child care professional credential, and meets the required entry level and on-going education for DHS licensing requirements for child care centers and the stars program.

Modul program

The modules are as follows: CVSS 2113 ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN, ECEA 1101 THE EARLY CARE PROFESSIONAL, ECEA 1123 FOUNDATIONS OF EARLY CARE EDUCATION, ECEA 1133 HEALTH, SAFETY AND NUTRITION IN EARLY CARE, ECEA 1143 CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY and TRANSPORTATION, ECEA 1213 UTILIZATION OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES, ECEA 1233 COMMUNICATION, LEADERSHIP and TECHNOILOGY, ECEA 2113 CHILD DEVELOPMENT, ECEA 2123 FAMILIES AS PARTNERS IN EARLY CARE EDUCATION, ECEA 2133 FOUNDATIONS OF INFANT/TODDLER CARE, ECEA 2213 INCLUSION IN EARLY CARE EDUCATION, ECEA 2223 LIABILITY, ETHICS and ADVOCACY IN EARLY CARE, ECEA 2233 CHILD GUIDANCE, BEHAVIOR AND CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT, ECEA 2243 CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAM PLANNING, ECEA 2412 PRACTICUM, ECEA 2503 OBSERVING AND ASSESSING THE YOUNG CHILD, ECEA 2513 OCCUPATIONAL PROFICIENCY.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must have completed high school core curriculum requirements such as four units in English - grammar, composition and literature, three units in mathematics - algebra I and above, two units in history - must include one unit of American history, two units in lab science - biology, chemistry, physics or any lab science certified by the school district, one unit in citizenship skills - economics, geography, government, non-western culture, three units in other - additional units of subjects above and/or from computer science and/or foreign language. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited high school or should have earned a General Education Diploma (GED). In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based), or 61 (internet-based); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0.
