The primary aim of this program is to provide students with a sound educational base. Courses in this program of study include writing and speaking skills, the arts, the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, and quantification. In addition, students may use elective course requirements to focus on their career goals or particular area of interest, such as business, history, or math. This flexible, accredited, broad liberal arts degree is designed to help them apply their real-world experiences toward a career-enhancing degree.

Applicants should be a high school graduate or must have completed their GED. The SAT or ACT is required if students native language is English, or if they are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. International students whose native language is not English should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based), or 550 (paper exam); a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 on the academic test; SAT score of 530 or higher on the critical reading or writing section; IGCSE score of A, B, or C on the English language exam, or; IB score of 5 or higher on the English language exam.
