Ringkasan program
This program prepares students in all aspects of nuclear medicine technology. In addition to performing a wide variety of imaging and therapeutic procedures, students learn to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, explain the procedures and their risks, take patient histories, and analyze the results of each study. Students work with a number of radiation detection systems, including gamma cameras and positron emission tomography systems. They also work with computers that analyze data from imaging studies, in addition to those used for administrative tasks. Coursework will include principles and procedures in computed tomography, which is frequently done in conjunction with nuclear medicine procedures. Most important, students work directly with patients, helping to ease their anxiety as well as diagnose their ailments.

Student should have official transcript in English from their previous school(s). One page essay stating their academic and career goals. English language proficiency: A TOEFL score of 61 (internet), 173 (computer), or 500 (paper); An IELTS overall band score of 5.0; Two years of non-ESL English classes in an American high school or an International school with a recommended GPA of 2.50; Successful completion of the BCC Bridge program; An "A-" grade in the Integrated Skills 5 in the Intensive English/University Preparation program; Successful completion of the highest level at another Intensive English school with a letter of recommendation written by the school official AND successful completion of the Bridge program at BCC.
