The Central Wyoming College campus is located in Riverton and has off-campus sites in Jackson, Lander, Thermopolis, Dubois and the Wind River Indian Reservation. The college also delivers college coursework nationwide via a variety of distance delivery methods. The college offers a wide variety of programs and services to students and businesses and community members of all ages. Programs include career-technical (applied) programs specifically for students looking to immediately enter the job market and academic transfer programs for students planning to continue on for bachelor and advanced degrees. The mission of Central Wyoming College is to enhance the quality of life through innovation and excellence in education. College housing residential facilities consist of Mote Hall, the Residence Hall, East Apartments and West Apartments. All complexes are non-smoking and no pets are allowed, except for fish. CWC housing facilities are true living and learning centers. Campus safety is a number one priority at CWC, and accordingly, has a fully integrated fire warning system in the Residence Hall and Mote Hall, as well as sprinkler systems throughout all complexes. The most inexpensive way for a single student to live on campus, the Residence Hall is a 48-bed co-ed complex designed with a key-less entry system into the building and divided into four areas. Each area houses 12 students, two students per bedroom. There is a large central bathroom for every 12 students. Central lounge for students to watch television, talk, relax and study. Each bedroom is furnished with beds, end table and built-in closet/dresser/desk, and offers access to the local area network, as well as cable TV and telephone. Freshman students who live on campus are required to live in either the Residence Hall or Mote Hall as space permits. Kitchenette facilities in the Residence Hall allow residents to participate in the Declining Balance Full Meal Plan, which gives students the flexibility to budget their semester food purchases in the Food Court. The Food Court serves three meals on weekdays and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Students may also use their Declining Balance Full Meal Plan to purchase snacks and beverages during Food Court hours.
