This program offers a functional overview of information systems and the analysis, design and security of modern computer networks. Concentration courses emphasize Local Area Networks, Wireless Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, and network security. In this degree program, students will be able to simulate network administration tasks through remote access to real hardware and software commonly used in the IT industry.

The modules are as follows: IT205 Management of Information Systems, IT210 Fundamentals of Programming with Algorithms and Logic, IT240 Intro to LAN Technologies, IT241 Intro to W-Lan Technologies, IT242 Intro to WAN Technologies, IT244 Intro to IT Security.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant must have earned a high school diploma, GED, California High School Proficiency Examination certificate, or foreign secondary school equivalent. Applicants who do not currently meet this requirement can arrange to take the GED through their state GED administrator's office or search for the nearest GED testing center. They can be currently employed and if not, they must have access to an organizational environment that allows them to apply the concepts they learn in their courses. They can be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or hold an approved, valid visa if attending a campus located in the United States. Students should pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), the Berlitz Online English Proficiency Exam or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the student is a non-native speaker of English.
