This program lays a foundation for further study in sport and recreation management. The concentration courses focus on developing knowledge, skills and attributes in areas such as management and leadership, ethics, budgeting and finance, communications marketing and social-cultural factors-all within a sport-related adaptation.

Modul program

The modules are as follows: SPM200 Introduction to Sport Management - Work at Play, SPM220 Sport Ethics--Good Sports Do Finish First, and Last, SPM230 Management and Leadership in Sports--It's Lifelong Coaching, SPM240 Communication in Sport: Talking a Great Game, SPM250 Sports Marketing: Build It, and They Will Participate, SPM260 Budget and Finance in Sport.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicant must have earned a high school diploma, GED, California High School Proficiency Examination certificate, or foreign secondary school equivalent. Applicants who do not currently meet this requirement can arrange to take the GED through their state GED administrator's office or search for the nearest GED testing center. They can be currently employed and if not, they must have access to an organizational environment that allows them to apply the concepts they learn in their courses. They can be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or hold an approved, valid visa if attending a campus located in the United States. Students should pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), the Berlitz Online English Proficiency Exam or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) if the student is a non-native speaker of English.
