Ringkasan program

In this program, students will be an integral part of the diagnostic team, producing images of the body using state-of-the-art radiation equipment, such as x-rays. Students will work in a hospital, clinic or other diagnostic imaging center, with patients of all ages and conditions. With the need for radiologic technologists growing throughout the U.S, and can also choose to explore opportunities close to home or across the country.

Modul program

The course modules for the first year fall semester are SC 116 Medical Terminology 1, CM 101 English Composition 3, SC 200 Anatomy and Physiology 5, SC 185 College Algebra 3, RA 107 Radiology Fund and Intro to Clinical Practicum 3. The course modules for the first year spring semester are HU 150 Critical Reasoning and Rhetoric 3, SC 206 Pathophysiology /Pharmacology 4, RA 115 Radioscopic Imaging I 3, RA 121 Radioscopic Procedures /Positioning I 2, RA 121L Radioscopic Procedures /Positioning I Lab 2, RA 160 Clinical Practicum I 3. The course modules for the first year summer semester are RA 122 Radioscopic Procedures /Positioning II 2, RA 122L Radioscopic Procedures /Positioning I Lab 1, RA 140 Radiation Biology and Protection 2, RA 161 Clinical Practice II 2, RA 260 Medical Ethics 1. The course modules for the second year fall semester are SS 235 Sociology of Culture 3, RA 165 Radiographic imaging II 3, RA 210 Radiographic Pathology, RA 220 Radiographic Procedures/Positioning III 2, RA 220L Radiographic Procedures/Positioning III Lab 1, RA 261 Clinical Practicum III 4. The course modules for the second year spring semester are HU Humanities Elective 3, CM 230 Language and Culture in Healthcare 3, SS 215 Life Span Psychology 3, RA 215 Radiographic Imaging III 3, RA 262 Applied Sectional Anatomy and Imaging 1, RA 263 Clinical Practicum IV 4. The course modules for the second year summer semester are CM 290 Portfolio Presentation 0, RA 265 Clinical Practicum V 3, RA 270 Radiographic Seminar 3, RA 280 Principles of Computed Tomography (CT) 2.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Admission requirements include High school graduate or GED equivalent, with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Required courses are: algebra, biology, chemistry (completed with a “C” grade or above) to be completed in high school or at college level; prerequisites of College Algebra, College Physics and College English Composition. The applicants should have an ACT composite 20 or above or SAT 950 critical reading and mathematics scores (if within 2 years of high school graduation), a College GPA of 2.5 or above (cumulative) earned at a regionally accredited institution (courses considered for transfer must be completed with a “C” grade or above). They must meet program technical standards. Job shadowing experience recommended and documentation may be submitted with application.
