Graduates of the AS degree program are eligible for licensure and to sit for exams leading to the credential Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT. Recent NMC graduates have achieved above average standards on board exams, and perform a variety of clinical functions as therapists.

The course modules for the second year summer semester are RC 200 Intro to Clinical Practice I 4, RC 210 Cardiopulmonary Physiology 3. The course modules for the second year fall semester are RC 220 Respiratory Care Clinical Practice II 6, RC 240 Principles of Respiratory Care 4, RC 240L Lab 0, RC 260 Mechanical Ventilation I 3, SC 206 Pathophysiology /Pharmacology 4, RC 350 Pulmonary Rehab. and Home Care 1. Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Admission requirements include High school graduate or GED equivalent, with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Required courses are: algebra, biology, chemistry (completed with a “C” grade or above) to be completed in high school or at college level; prerequisites of College Algebra, College Physics and College English Composition. The applicants should have an ACT composite 20 or above or SAT 950 critical reading and mathematics scores (if within 2 years of high school graduation), a College GPA of 2.5 or above (cumulative) earned at a regionally accredited institution (courses considered for transfer must be completed with a “C” grade or above). They must meet program technical standards. Job shadowing experience recommended and documentation may be submitted with application.
