Ringkasan program
The Tourism and Travel program is designed to prepare students to meet entry-level requirements for employment in most aspects of the travel industry. Dramatic growth and changes in the travel industry have created the need for highly trained personnel. In addition to travel agencies, employment possibilities include food service, resorts, hotels and motels, convention centers, corporate travel departments, travel operators, aviation, amusement and theme parks, car rental agencies, cruise lines, and railroads.

The Modules include: TOUR 20 Introduction to Tourism, Travel and Hospitality, TOUR 22 Travel: Air, Land and Sea, TOUR 24 Domestic Air Tariff and Ticketing (Pre/Co), TOUR 26 Travel Destinations: Hawaii, South Pacific, Asia, TOUR 28 Travel Destinations: U.S. and Canada, TOUR 30 Travel Destinations: Caribbean, Mexico, Latin America, TOUR 32 Travel Selling Procedures, TOUR 34 International Air Tariff and Ticketing (Pre), TOUR 36 Travel Destinations: Europe and Africa, TOUR 38 Worldwide Itinerary Preparation, TOUR 42A-B Computer Training (elective) (Pre), TOUR 99 Tourism and Travel Work Experience (elective) (Pre/Co), TOUR 100 Field Trip (elective), BCIS 20 Beginning/Refresher Keyboarding I, BUS Business class (BCIS 28, 84 or 80 recommended), ENGL 2* Reading and Composition I (Pre), CMST 2 Public Speaking or CMST 4 Group Discussion (Pre).

The student seeking admission into the University must have the following requirements: An official high school transcript indicating superior preparation and notice of graduation; Minimum TOEFL Score of 133 on the computer-based test or 45 on the internet based test or they can demonstrate their proficiency by taking IELTS with a minimum score of 5.0 or ELS with a minimum score of 109.
