Allen Community College is located at the north edge of Iola on a modern campus that complements the gently rolling hills of the Neosho River Valley. Its mission is to provide quality educational and support services in an atmosphere that is caring, safe, and conducive to learning. Allen College operates two residence halls that accommodate 150 students. The residence hall is located in Iola campus. Horton hall is a two-story co-ed dormitory. Masterson hall offers an apartment style resident hall where four students will share two bedrooms, a full size kitchen, living room, and bath. Winter Hall is a two-story co-ed dormitory. Red Devil Duplexes are a series of five housing units located just across the street from the Iola campus. Zahn Scholarship House is a modern log-cabin-style house with rural cable television available. It is normally reserved for Zahn Agricultural Scholarship recipients. Each room in the residence hall is designed for two students and each room shares a bath with an adjoining room. High speed internet access is provided in each room and shared internet access in the Red Devil duplexes and the Zahn Scholarship house.
