Students will explore and examine a wide range of liberal arts topics from ethics and civilization to humanities and social sciences. As a result of their learning experience, they will enhance their ability to write effectively and think critically while gaining a better understanding of the type of profession (and degree) that they might like to pursue.

Modul program

The following are the modules: Associate Degree Core (21 q.h.): Foundation Courses (6 q.h.):Complete one of the following courses: LDR 3230 Ethical Decision Making 3 q.h., PHL 1001 Introduction to Philosophy and Ethics 3 q.h., PHL 2160 Bioethics 3 q.h., Complete the following course: INT 2305 Introduction to Liberal Studies 3 q.h., Major Courses (39 q.h.), Complete one of the following courses: HST 1001 The Civilization of the Ancient & Medieval World 3 q.h., HST 1002 The Civilization of the Early Modern World 3 q.h., HST 1003 The Civilization of the Modern World 3 q.h., Complete seven Humanities courses from the following prefixes: ART, ASL, CMN, ENG, JRN, MUS, PHL, TCC, THE, or a modern foreign language 21 q.h., Complete one Math-Science course from the following prefixes: BIO, BTC, CHM, ESC, MTH, PHY 3 q.h., Complete four Social Science courses from the following prefixes: ANT, CJS, ECN, HST, POL, PSY, SOC 12 q.h., Open Electives (14 q.h.).

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

International applicants must have TOEFL passing score of 223 on the computer-based test, 563 on the paper based test, 84 on the Internet -based test, or a passing score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). This requirement is waived if students SAT critical reading score /ACT equivalent is at least 550.
