Ringkasan program

This program is jointly with Auburn University Montgomery. It focuses on the teaching/learning process as it relates to nursing students, patients and their families, and health care providers. As a graduates of this program students will possess advanced knowledge of educational principles for diverse populations and the roles of the clinical nurse specialist in adult health, gerontology, or pediatrics. The program consists of 43-51 semester hours. The curriculum is offered via traditional classroom and internet web-based courses. Classes vary between campus during the semester. As a student they will complete an evidence-based practice project or a research option.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students to be considered for admission must have earned a bachelor’s of science in nursing from an accredited college or university with good academic standing from the last university attended. They should have a successful completion (C or better) of an undergraduate statistics course with an overall GPA of 3.0. Students should have also taken GRE scores exam and must hold a unencumbered license as a registered nurse. Also students whose native language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency in English language either with a TOEFL scores of at least 550 on the written test (213 on the computer based test, 79 on the Internet Based Test with 16 in each section) or IELTS scores of at least 6.5.
