Ringkasan program
This track emphasizes a well-rounded liberal arts background and a comprehensive understanding of the world’s varied systems of visual representation and communication. The curriculum allows students to apply the approaches and perspectives of linguistic anthropology and socio-cultural anthropology (and potentially, other areas of study) toward the study and practice of visual communication. It is well suited to those with interests in popular culture, the fine arts, documentary and ethnographic film, feature film, all forms of artistic performance, tele-visual communication (including both broadcast and narrowcast forms), home media, and alternative media.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicant must have completed the equivalent of an American secondary school education (usually 12 years of formal education) and have the appropriate graduation diplomas or satisfactory leaving examination results. Applicants still attending their secondary school (usually the first 12 years of schooling and equivalent to a U.S. high school) or if they have taken fewer than 15 credits (generally four to five courses or one-half year of study) at an institution of higher education after satisfactorily completing their secondary schooling can also apply. They should have grade point average of 3.0 in college-prep courses with B average. They must have obtained minimum TOEFL scores of 550 for paper-based test, 213 for computer-based test, and 79 for internet-based test; or they should have IELTS minimum score of 6.0.
