Ringkasan program
The anthropology is concerned with the holistic study of diverse peoples and cultures with a central focus on what it means to be human. This understanding is developed using an integrative and comparative approach that examines the role of culture in human society. Areas of knowledge include specific ethnographic areas such as Central and South America, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa along with specific subfields of anthropology: cultural anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, and physical anthropology; political, social, and environmental issues within the context of international and international diversity; and major historical and contemporary theoretical perspectives.

Students must have completed high school diploma or a GED. In addition, the individual has attempted fewer than 26 semester (39 quarter) credits at a post-secondary institution. If a student is graduating from high school and has less than 26 semester credits, she/he will be considered a new entering freshman, allowing the student to be considered for merit scholarships and participation in Academic Orientation. High school students should have completion of a minimum of the following courses: 4 years English, 3 years math (including a minimum of algebra, intermediate algebra, and geometry), 3 years science (1 year each of biological and physical science), 3 years social studies (including U.S. history) and 2 years single second language. Scores from either the ACT or SAT exams including writing is required. International students must have minimum TOEFL scores of 550 Written, 213 Computer, 80 Internet (iBT) or an IELTS score of 6.5.
