Modul program
The modules are as follows: Four "core" courses (12 credits): ANTH 021, ANTH 024, ANTH 026, ANTH 028; Fifteen (15) credits at the 100-level or above, including 3 credits at the 100-level in each of two different areas of anthropology (6 credits total), chosen from the following four subfields: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology, Each semester, the department indicates which subfield requirements ANTH 195/196 offerings fulfill. Students must choose one class from two of the following sub-categories (6 credits total): Archaeology: ANTH 104, ANTH 130, ANTH 133, ANTH 160, ANTH 161, ANTH 167, ANTH 188, Biological Anthropology: ANTH 140, ANTH 172, ANTH 174, ANTH 187, ANTH 189, Cultural Anthropology: ANTH 102, ANTH 103, ANTH 123, ANTH 151, ANTH 152, ANTH 155, ANTH 160, ANTH 161, ANTH 162, ANTH 163, ANTH 165, ANTH 166, ANTH 167, ANTH 169, ANTH 172, ANTH 174, ANTH 179, ANTH 180, ANTH 181, ANTH 187, ANTH 189, Linguistic Anthropology: ANTH 172, ANTH 176 (may repeat for credit with different content), ANTH 178; Six (6) credits at the 200-level. Only 3 credits from ANTH 200 will count toward this requirement; ISSP thesis (ANTH 190) and internship (ANTH 201) courses will not count toward the 33 hours required for the anthropology major; Students planning to pursue a graduate degree are encouraged to take an appropriate mixture of methods and theory courses at the 200-level.

Students must have minimum entry requirements: four years of English; three years of mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II and geometry (or equivalents); two years of the same foreign language (American Sign Language meets this requirement); two years of a natural or physical science, including a laboratory science; three years of social sciences. International students should have a minimum acceptable TOEFL score of both 550 for the paper-based and 79-80 for the iBT and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
