This program is a liberal arts course of study for students with a strong commitment to making art. Studio and art history courses provide a broad, holistic education in the visual arts without a specific career focus.

ART 1310 Design I, 2-D, ART 1321 Drawing I, ART 2312 Design II, 3-D, ART 2322 Drawing II, Life, Plus 6 hours from the following: ART 2325 Asian Art Survey, ART 2335 Art History, Ancient, ART 2336 Art History, Renaissance-Modern, ART 4388 Advanced Studio, Prerequisites: ART 2140, 6 hours in one studio area, and faculty permission, ART 4140 Portfolio Assessment III, Choose 3 studio electives from below (2 must be from level II) - Level I Studio Electives: ART 3318 Photography I, Prerequisites: ART 1310 and 3 hours drawing, ART 3330 Illustration I, ART 3332 Painting I, ART 3334 Watercolor I, ART 3353 Graphic Design I, ART 3343 Printmaking I, ART 3361 Sculpture I, ART 3379 Ceramics I, Level II Studio Electives (choose 2): ART 3320 Photography II, ART 3331 Illustration II, ART 3333 Painting II, ART 3339 Watercolor II, ART 3344 Printmaking II, ART 3354 Graphic Design II, ART 3362 Sculpture II, ART 3320 Ceramics II.

Students should have an official high school transcript or GED, ACT or SAT Scores, Official college transcripts of any previous college credits awarded, proof of two immunizations against measles and rubella unless student were born before 1957, making student age exempt.
