Ringkasan program
This program provides students with access to both traditional and contemporary methods of image making. K-State printmaking is built upon a rich history of print appreciation and technical mastery of print media. Various methods of Intaglio (etching), Relief (woodcut), Monotype, Lithography, Serigraphy (Silkscreen), and Photographic processes are open for exploration by students in their quest for creative, personal expression. Students work in a communal and collaborative work environment, where shop safety is a top priority. Serious inquiry into art historical and contemporary contexts for printmaking is emphasized.

The Art history (12 credit hours): ART 195 - Survey of Art History I Credits: (3), ART 196 - Survey of Art History II Credits: (3), ART 545 - Twentieth Century Art History I Credits: (3), ART 550 - Twentieth Century Art History II Credits: (3), ART 602 - Twentieth Century Art History III Credits: (3), ART 603 - Twentieth Century Art History IV Credits: (3); Foundation core (21 credit hours): Two-dimensional course choice Credits: (3), hree-dimensional course choice Credits: (3), ART 100 - 2- Dimensional Design Credits: (3), ART 190 - Drawing I Credits: (3), ART 200 - 3- Dimensional Design Credits: (3), ART 210 - Drawing II Credits: (3), ART 225 - Figure Drawing I Credits: (3), Art electives (15 credit hours), Major concentration (15 credit hours).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should be a high school graduate from an accredited high school. They should have achieved an ACT score of 21 or above or an SAT (critical reading and math) of 980 or above; or ranked in the top third of the graduating class at the end of the seventh or eighth semester; or completed the precollege curriculum such as English, natural science, math, and social science. In addition to this, if international students meet the academic requirements, Kansas State University may conditionally admit them with no proof of English proficiency. English proficiency requirements for unconditional admission are transfer students from a U.S. institution must have completed both 24 credit hours at an accredited U.S. institution and English Composition I and II with grades of C or better; an IBT (Internet based TOEFL) - composite score of 79 or higher; IELTS - composite score of 6.5 or higher; ACT - English part score of 23 or higher; SAT - verbal part score of 530 or higher; PTE - Pearson Test of English - overall score of 53 or higher; Eiken (Pre-1 score); and four years attendance in a U.S. high school with grades of C or better in all college preparatory courses.
