Ringkasan program
The Curriculum in Parks and Recreation Management prepares students for employment in a diversity of leisure service or travel and tourism delivery settings and for graduate study, and is NRPA/AALR accredited in Leisure Service Management. Within the Parks and Recreation Curriculum, there are two areas of concentration in which a Bachelor of Arts Degree can be obtained: Travel and Commercial Recreation, and Public and Non-Profit Recreation.
Modul program
Students will have their courses in REC 430 Managing Leisure Service Quality, REC 465 Park Planning and Design, REC 475 Adv HR Mgt and Financing of Parks and Rec Serv, Students must complete 6 hours from the following, COM 221 Small Group Communication, LED 211 Principles of Leadership, LED 311 Communication and Leadership, PLS 101 American National Government, PLS 207 American Urban Govt. and Politics, PLS 217 Ethics and Leadership in Public Life.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a graduation from an accredited secondary school. They must meet minimum course requirements as established by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina system. The course requirements should include the following: four course units in English, two course units in foreign language, four course units of mathematics, three course units in science and two course units in social science. A minimum 2.5 GPA on a U.S. scale of 4.0 is required. English proficiency is required of international applicants and is proven by one of the following: minimum score TOEFL should be 71 on the Internet-based exam, 197 on the computer-based exam, or 525 on the paper-based exam; minimum score of IELTS is 6.5 on the academic module; SAT-I Critical Reading score of 450 or higher; ACT reading section score of 20 or higher; Successful completion of UNCW’s ESL program, prior to applying; Having lived in the U.S. for 4 years or more and completion of 2 college-level courses of English composition at a U.S. college or university with a grade of B or better.
