Ringkasan program
This program aims to produce graduates who are prepared to enter and sustain the practice of aerospace engineering and related fields, or to pursue advanced studies. This mission is consistent with the mission of the University of Minnesota in learning and teaching, and with the mission of the College of Science and Engineering: to provide a rigorous and stimulating education for its undergraduate majors and to provide programs of instruction in engineering that meet nationally accepted standards for practice of the profession of engineering. Aerospace engineering is a multidisciplinary field that encompasses many areas of science and engineering and plays a major role in the technological advancement of society. As a constantly changing profession, aerospace engineering is concerned with a wide range of problems and the latest technologies. An aerospace engineer must have a comprehensive fundamental education in mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering sciences. The four-year program leading to the B.A.E.M. provides this broad background. The program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed the coursework through high school graduation. They are expected to complete, at a minimum, the University's core subject requirements such as four years of English with an emphasis on writing, including instruction in reading and speaking skills and in literary understanding and appreciation; three years of mathematics including one year each of elementary algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra; three years of science including one year each of biological and physical science, and including a laboratory experience; three years of social studies including one year each of U.S. history and geography; two years of a single second language; and one year of visual and/or performing arts including instruction in the history and interpretation of the art form. Individual circumstances are also considered as part of the overall assessment of each application and may factor into individual decisions. Students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 550 in paper based 79 for internet based, 6.5 for IELTS, and 80 for MELAB. If students have taken the ACT exam and scored 17 or lower on the English or reading section (or SAT critical reading [verbal] score of 420 or lower) need to provide English language scores.
