Ringkasan program
In this program, students may pursue specialized study in economic theory, money and banking, public finance, labor economics, international trade, economic development, transportation, econometrics, regional economics, industrial organization, and economic systems. The well-trained economist has a solid understanding of economic theory as well as the technical tools to apply this theory to make informed choices. Not surprisingly, these skills are valuable in the job market; they also help students prepare for graduate studies in economics, law, or related fields.

The modules include ECON 110 - Principles of Macroeconomics Credits: (3); ECON 120 - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: (3); ECON 510 - Intermediate Macroeconomics Credits: (3); ECON 520 - Intermediate Microeconomics Credits: (3) or ECON 521 - Intermediate Microeconomic Theory Credits: (3); ECON 580 - Senior Seminar in Economics Credits: (3); at the 500 level or above (except ECON 505 and 523); STAT 325 - Introduction to Statistics Credits: (3); STAT 340 - Biometrics I Credits: (3); STAT 350 - Business and Economic Statistics I Credits: (3); STAT 510 - Introductory Probability and Statistics I Credits: (3); STAT 702 - Statistical Methods for Social Sciences Credits: (3) or STAT 703 - Statistical Methods for Natural Scientists Credits: (3); STAT 351 - Business and Economic Statistics II Credits: (3); STAT 511 - Introductory Probability and Statistics II Credits: (3); STAT 705 - Regression and Correlation Analyses Credits: (2); Choose one from the following: MATH 205 - General Calculus and Linear Algebra Credits: (3); MATH 220 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I Credits: (4).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should be a high school graduate from an accredited high school. They should have achieved an ACT score of 21 or above or an SAT (critical reading and math) of 980 or above; or ranked in the top third of the graduating class at the end of the seventh or eighth semester; or completed the precollege curriculum such as English, natural science, math, and social science. In addition to this, if international students meet the academic requirements, Kansas State University may conditionally admit them with no proof of English proficiency. English proficiency requirements for unconditional admission are transfer students from a U.S. institution must have completed both 24 credit hours at an accredited U.S. institution and English Composition I and II with grades of C or better; an IBT (Internet based TOEFL) - composite score of 79 or higher; IELTS - composite score of 6.5 or higher; ACT - English part score of 23 or higher; SAT - verbal part score of 530 or higher; PTE - Pearson Test of English - overall score of 53 or higher; Eiken (Pre-1 score); and four years attendance in a U.S. high school with grades of C or better in all college preparatory courses.
