Modul program
The modules are as follows: General Education Core Requirements for B.A. 56-58; Major Requirements: Writing Emphasis: Technical Requirement: ENG 1050 Understanding Literature Language (3) [Hours count in Gen Ed Humanities category]; Writing Core 12: ENW 2000, Theories of Writing 3, Six hours from ENL 2000-level literature surveys 6, Three hours chosen from the following: ENW 2410, 2420, 2430, 2510 3, 18 hours Upper-level ENW/ENL courses, to include not more than two ENL courses. Up to six credit hours of the 18 upper-level hours may be chosen from: MDS 2210; MDS 2400; MDS 3130; MDS 3550; MDS 3990; MGT 3120 18, ENW 3960 Internship 1-3, ENW 3000 Junior Seminar, ENW 4900 Senior Seminar in English Studies 3; Minor Requirements 18; Electives 19-21.

International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by meeting any one of the following: minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based test (PBT) or 80 internet-based test (iBT); minimum IELTS score of 6.5; minimum SAT Critical Reading score of 530 or ACT English subscore of 23; successful completion of ELS Language Center Level 112. All applicants with college level coursework from a foreign institution must have their transcripts evaluated by an approved foreign credential evaluation organization, such as World Educations Services (WES) or Joseph Silny and Associates or an evaluation service listed currently as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
