Ringkasan program
This program is an interdisciplinary major that presents perspectives on intersecting issues connecting the study of philosophy, economics, law, and sociology. All of these disciplines involve a focus on practical questions concerning how individuals ought to behave and how they ought to regulate the behavior of others. The major in ethics and public policy provides an ideal background for law school. The study of reasoning, an important component of the major, is useful in preparing for the LSAT, GMAT, and MCAT. The major also prepares students to bring a sophisticated, cross-disciplinary perspective to diverse fields such as government, urban and regional planning, social work, and business. This program requires a minimum of 120 s.h., including at least 37 s.h. of work for the major.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed academic upper secondary school (generally a total of 12-13 years of primary and secondary education), or a corresponding secondary school diploma or leaving certificate. They must meet above-average grades in a university-preparatory program. They should have completed the required amount of secondary school preparation in the following areas: mathematics three years, science three years, social studies three years, native language four years and single foreign language two years. Students whose first language is not in English must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 530 on the paper-based test or 71 on the internet-based test for regular admission, or they should have a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5.
