Uraian Tempat

The department traces it roots back to 1907, when Nevin Fenneman, a charter member of the Association of American Geographers and one of its early presidents, began teaching a series of five courses in a combined department of Geology and Geography. Due to the popularity of his courses, by 1917 two instructors were added to teach additional Geography courses. Over the years some 55 full-time and five adjunct professors have served the department.

UC is an attractive environment that is committed to providing a safe, secure and accommodating campus. And the campus offers just about everything students need within a short walking distance. The housing contract options easily accommodate varying needs, including cooperative education and year-round housing. All rooms are furnished and come with air conditioning, high speed Internet access, a phone, local phone service, utilities and cable TV service. A premium channel upgrade is available for the cable service. Loft beds are also available. All halls feature a full fire protection system and 24-hour security. Some of the halls are ; Calhoun Hall, Campus Recreation Center Housing, Dabney Hall, Daniels Hall, Scioto-Morgan Apartment Complex, Siddall Hall, etc.
