Ringkasan program
The Reynolds School of Journalism values critical thinking and exploration of public media issues. The school is committed to encouraging diversity of ideas, faculty and students. The RSJ has a tradition of strong professional orientation with an emphasis on hands-on skills training. Many professors have worked in journalistic fields - print, broadcast, visual and interactive media, advertising and public relations - and many continue to be active in these pursuits. Instruction emphasizes a strong liberal arts basis in addition to professional skills and requires students to complete professional internships in their chosen journalistic fields.

Students must have a 3.0 (weighted/unweighted) GPA in the academic courses in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada. Students must be graduate of an approved or accredited high school. The minimum scores required for admission are: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test), 500 (Paper-Based Test), or 173 (Computer-Based Test). International English Language Testing System (IELTS- must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Completion of English 101 or equivalent from another U.S. higher education institution.
