This program curriculum provides a comprehensive grounding in basic principles of physiology and neuroscience, as well as in-depth exposure to the application of these principles in understanding whole-organism function and the ways in which animals cope with challenges presented by their environments. This concentration is noted on student’s transcript, but not on their diploma.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Student’s high school academic record is the most important factor affecting their admission. Successful candidates typically meet or exceed the following criteria: top10-15% of their high school class in the most rigorous college prep courses, B+ to A- grade point average, and highly competitive standardized test scores (SAT or ACT). All international applicants must prove English proficiency. Admission will not be granted until English proficiency is met. An applicant may prove English proficiency by one of the following: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 79 on the Internet-based exam or 550 on the paper-based exam; International English Language Testing (IELTS) band score of 6.5; SAT-I Critical Reading score of 450 or higher; English Composition I and II with a grade of C or better from an accredited U.S. college or university; Advanced Placement International English Language (APIEL) score of 3 or higher; English Language Placement Test (ELPT) score of 965 or higher.

NC State does not have a requirement for freshmen to live on campus, so deciding where the students will live is a big decision. University Housing has many options that will appeal to students. It offers 20 residence halls and three apartment complexes. The apartments and one residence hall require at least junior status. That means that there are nineteen residence halls for incoming freshmen to choose from. Apartments at NC State are more than buildings; they are living and learning communities. From state of the art data, telephone, and cable TV service, to a variety of floor plan layouts and furnishings, it can supply everything students need. Students can select one from the following Apartment complexes: E.S. King Village; Western Manor; Wolf Village. Residence Halls: From state of the art data, telephone and cable TV service, to a variety of dining options, it can supply everything students need. It has three different layouts to residence halls. Traditional corridor style living has rooms that open into an interior hallway with shared bathroom facilities on each floor. Suite style living combines 4 or 5 rooms on a short hallway that shares bathroom facilities. The breezeway style has rooms that open onto an exterior breezeway with bathrooms in each room. Housing facilities are located in three areas of campus: East, West, and Central. For more information about that particular hall students can visit: http://www.ncsu.edu/housing/halls/index.php . All of these residence halls are air-conditioned. Smoking is not permitted in any residence hall. Some halls are designated as alcohol-free, while in others alcohol is only allowed if both residents are of legal age to consume alcohol. There are severe penalties for any underage resident found with alcohol and for any resident who supplies alcohol to an underage resident.
