Ringkasan program
The entry-level doctor of physical therapy (D.P.T.) combined degree is a six-year program in which students complete 90 credits, 30 of which must be upper division, with the appropriate prerequisites, prior to entering the physical therapy program. Candidates will follow a prescribed course of study in undergraduate biology and will receive a bachelor of science after successful completion of the first year of study in the doctor of physical therapy program. Students will receive a doctoral degree in physical therapy after they complete three years of training at the College of Allied Health and Nursing.

The Dual Admission Program in physical therapy is restricted to entering freshmen. Candidates are required to pursue a bachelor's degree in athletic training or biology. They must achieve, at minimum, one of three combinations of high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores: 3.3 GPA with 1150 SAT or 25 ACT, 3.5 GPA with 1100 SAT or 24 ACT, or 3.8 GPA with 1080 SAT or 23 ACT. In addition, candidates must have four years of mathematics (through pre-calculus), three years of science (including biology and chemistry), and four years of English. In addition to an undergraduate studies application, a dual admission application must be submitted along with three references: one from a high school science teacher, one from a guidance counselor, and one from a professional physical therapist. An on-campus preadmission interview is required.
