Ringkasan program
This program prepares individuals to work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartens (i.e., ALL young children) with and without disabilities, including those at risk, and their families. With increasing numbers of preschool children being served in public schools, the need for individuals with a BK license exceeds the supply. In addition to working in public school classrooms, BK program graduates may find employment in early intervention programs, child care and education centers, residential placement centers, and other child and family settings.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have a grade of C or better in the Early Experience (CDFR 2123) course (must be taken at ECU) and adequate scores on the PRAXIS I: Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST), reading, writing and math; or Computerized PPST (C-PPST) in reading, writing and math; or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT); or American College Testing (ACT). They should possess a 2.5 or better grade point average on all work attempted at ECU. Non-native speakers of English are required to provide an evidence of English proficiency of TOEFL with a minimum score of 500 on paper-based or 173 on computer-based or 61 on internet based test and IELTS score of 5.5 or higher is required for admission.
